Japan Game Show Invasion is going to Brazil!

The format is a spin-off of the global hit Big in Japan. Currently being adapted and developed by Record TV, this Small World format created by Babyfoot gives locals the experience of taking part in a wild and wacky Japanese style game show in their own backyard. Powerless Format Sold to Imago TV

Small World IFT has sold social-experiment format Powerless (aka Blackout) to ITV Studios’ German production company, Imago TV. Originally produced by SVT Sweden, Powerless debuted in January on the SVT Play digital platform, before the main channel. The series seeks to answer the question: as the global climate crisis intensifies and the world becomes ever more dependent on technology, what would happen if all the power we take for granted suddenly went down? “Powerless was a sensational success in Sweden,” Tim Crescenti, president and founder of Los Angeles-based Small World IFT, said.

A big congratulations to Diana Lebedeva for winning the grand prize at the 2019 Small World Big Ideas formats contest for her fan-dam-tastic format, Young Adults. Tim Crescenti joined Ed Waller of C21 Media and Ksenia Chorna of 1+1 Media this year on the judges panel, with additional thanks to Kyiv Media Week for all their work in organizing this spectacular event. Better Late Than Never French adaptation will premiere tonight on France 3

Oui! Oui! Better Late Than Never (aka Grandpas Over Flowers) French adaptation will premiere tonight on France 3 with the magnifique cast of Patrice Laffont (Television Presenter), Jean-Pierre Castaldi (Actor), Philippe Lavil (Singer) and Patrice Drevet (Journalist), titled “Mieux Vaut Tard que Jamias” produced by Pernel Media. The original version has aired for five seasons on tvN in South Korea and was created by CJENM. The fun, family-friendly format has been adapted in US (two seasons on NBC), Italy, Netherlands, Israel, Turkey, Poland, Russia China and Thailand. Plus optioned in nine other countries. Voila!
